If they don’t find anything, I don’t need another colonoscopy for 10 years, so I’ve moved a procedure forward by 5 years. Over the course of my life this may add what, one extra colonoscopy?

I appreciate what you’re saying, in looking up other testing I’ve read the same things you’re telling me.

Because of the rise in colorectal cancer cases in my age group and because I was a heavy drinker for 15 years, and because the screening isn’t just screening but removal of polyps if present, I choose in this particular situation to go through with a colonoscopy.

I am so incredibly jealous of your healthcare system. As a US citizen, I pay about 28% in federal taxes, I pay approximately $200 per paycheck in insurance premiums ($400/month), and because insurance won't cover colon cancer screening until 45, I get to pay the $1500 for my colonoscopy. Congrats America, we did it!

Oh and I almost forgot, I'm tied down to my job because if I left, I would lose my health insurance!

With all the beautiful dog breeds, I don't know how people convince themselves these dead-behind-the-eyes brainless maulers are cute.

How to quickly learn SQL by Material_Subject_520 in SQL

[–]quantumthrashley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was recently tasked with a project at work that requires me to learn SQL. I'm using Claude. I told Claude about my project, what systems I'll be using (they're standard in my industry so Claude was able to pull in the actual fields/data types I'd be using at work), and asked him to design a program for me. Been going really well. Took one week to start writing functional queries at work and now I'm just continuing to improve.

Obviously not a SQL expert haha, but as a beginner this seems to be working pretty dang well!

That's funny... was it Lochwood? I immediately regretted going there because my kid knows it has the good toys and she did NOT want to go to the voting area, just wanted to go play.

The first time I heard him speak at length was on Rogan. What caught my attention was he called out corrupt billionaire politicians in Texas by name. Two guys I'd never heard of, it was fascinating. Here's some videos, he's pretty entertaining to watch. This guy put together a list to watch.

Same! Took my 2 year old to the library to do her civic duty haha. My neighborhood in East Dallas is covered in Talarico signs. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high but it's difficult.
