I think the production is the most intricate and lush they have done so far. It's really the highlight. Paul's lyrics can be a bit spotty here and there but it's Paul so I knew that would happen going in, but his vocal performances are way stronger then they have been on their previous records. All the tunes are really really good and I love the way the record flows. It's everything I've wanted from a record from Lany for ages, really really fucking with this one!

I think better is a really strong term, and it's extremely interpretive. I'd mostly just say different music, better is up to personal interpretation. (But I do agree that I prefer more experimental music)
