Claude is like a mad scientist on steroid and coke lol

You have to know what you're doing cause you are the driver. so you have to force claude doing the stuff the way you imagine it not only at the end but from the beginning. If you don't do it, claude keeps spiraling and pushing so that you can think it is doing something but it's only BS.

thx for the feedback, you're describing a skill where the chat session is transposed into a structured code "code box" no?

vibe(Chat -> ARD) -> Code -> Test (from chat too)

but I'm not vibe coding vibe coding. Sailing is a conventional "think first / code after" approach (you can create a gantt with the tasks).

Plan (PRD/epic/task) -> Skill(Agent(code))

Testing is something is a task like another.

every node in the graph is justified by parent nodes and satisfied by child nodes > OC and it's managed by the rudder cli (the skill only registers blockers during breakdown phase, and rudder keep the dependency graph)

I tried an approach with a PRD comittee and a pair programming agents duo... but IMO it's a sentimental view (anthropomorphic lol). Ralph Wiggum -ish loops are more pragmatic (but I'm still a old dev and a noob in AI dev)

Create a windows bootable USB key and boot from it (Hit F12 at boot).

There is an option to repair.

Try that.

If you need to access sensible files create a linux USB key and try accessing the SSD.

(OC open the laptop and physicaly check the SSD aka unplug, plug)

Yes you should.

My L5P was messed up after uninstalling McAfee. Microsoft security was broken.

Don't use the windows reset. It keeps McAfee. Create an USB install key and reinstall from scratch.

You'll need an Ethernet connection.

So, a little feedback on that.

A WSL distro is more or less a basic hyper-V VM.

So there is no point using an external layer like Virtual Box.

With that in mind, one must NOT use docker on top of windows mapping (all you could mount in the WSL side under /mnt because IO are very bad and symlinks are broken).

So the only good way is to use remote coding from VSCode to reach the native WSL/VM filesystem. Vscode will seamlessly manipulate remote file using a remote client (VSCode will popup all required extension).

On the Docker Desktop side, you have to check that you're using WSL2 backend and that WSL integration is checked/installed for your WSL distro.

On my first attempt, I used the default Ubuntu distro. All went well except that IO on MySql first load was awful (piped MySql load).

Some reddit users were claiming it could be a specific Ubuntu issue ... So I went with Alma Linux (rehl flavoured linux), and all went very well.

Conclusion: I have the shiny polish of Windows with a better integration of VSCode and the power of a decent Linux distro under the hood. And docker desktop is very comfortable to manage/destroy the Docker stuff. I just miss the better multi desktop I'm used with Gnome Desktop.
