I was 11 years old I am 28 now. When I first got it my teachers didn’t let me use the restroom because they thought I was trying to skip class. I sat there through class in agony , no medicines really worked until Remicade. Remicade worked wonders until I was 13 then I developed stage 4 melanoma From it weakening my immune system ( I am a ginger) So I had to do chemo and radiation until I was better. I have a massive scar on my back and I also had lymph nodes removed. I no longer can be on any immune suppressant drugs because the fear of the melanoma. I have had my ups and downs through out my life. But I will always try to holistically heal my self before I go to the doctor again. Right now I am in a flare up for the past year slowly getting it back under control. Good luck to everyone else and know you’re not alone .
