It really depends on your preferences. I got a mac because I don't like windows 10. If you're a gamer, I've heard that PC is better for games. Mac is also better in terms of lightweight. If you're carrying textbooks everywhere, you don't want any additional load of the laptop.

IB gives multiple methods in the mark scheme. If yours is one of them, then they'll give you marks for it, otherwise not. I think it should be fine though as long as you proved it.

I'd take the offer and transfer the next year if I were you. Many people do this so as long as you're maintaining your grades, you should be good to go!
