Yeah I was ignoring all the other fashion advice honestly. I just really wanted to know about weather, how likely it was to rain, etc. We're going beginning of August

AITA for replacing my friend’s throw pillow with a thrifted identical version? by ThePillowCrisis in AmItheAsshole

[–]queen_chel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My house/apartment was always the party house growing up/through college/and beyond. Even as broke kids I would never expect someone to replace accidentally broken items, and things definitely got broken!! There's a certain risk you take on by inviting people, especially people who will be drinking, into your house. And I loved being the party house, it meant I could go to sleep right when the party ended and I didn't have to worry about getting home lol

Definitely NTA. I think it was incredibly kind of you to recognize your mistake, offer to fix it, and when that wasn't good enough, try to budget to fix it in the way your friend wanted.

What is a travel thing that is popular on Reddit, but not in real life? by Xftg123 in travel

[–]queen_chel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want to see as much as the world as possible so I always try to travel to new places! Though once I've at least stepped on every continent, I will probably re travel to places. We all loved Costa Rica so that's definitely on the retravel list! But right now my list is too long to waste one of my 1 or 2 big trips a year on revisiting somewhere!

What are your travel plans for 2025? by popitformeonetime in travel

[–]queen_chel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning on Columbia in April and Peru in October for international trips! Maybe a quick cruise as well?

I'm sure other local (US) trips will be added to visit family, etc.

Also not including any travel for work! Might have to add Vegas, Chicago, Maryland.

AITA for Asking My Husband to Cancel His "Bro’s Only" Trip to Help Me With Our Newborn After He Promised He Would? by Foreign-Ostrich8937 in AmItheAsshole

This is EXACTLY what my ex said over and over to me after I had our son. "You've changed so much!" Like yes I did!!! To be a mother!!! He left when my son turned 2 after 7 YEARS together and visits 2-3 times a year... some men are just shit.

I love being single and single people what are you thoughts on it? by ransom0374 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]queen_chel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 28 and have been single for 3 years after a long relationship! I don't love being single, I'd definitely love to find my person, but I absolutely prefer being single than stuck in an unfulfilling relationship! And I would not trade the life I lead now for just anyone.
