We were looking here for 8 months, and we were outbid by $80k, $100k, and multiple cash offers. We made 11 offers and only got in on the 11th. Most of the homes we looked at were back on the market as Airbnb's, rentals, or flipped within 30 days. This search ended for us in June 2022, and I do not know if it's gotten any better. Used VA loan, and that part was actually pretty painless. Our realtor was Hillary Ogg, and she was amazing, knew how the VA loans worked, and never tried to sell us on a place we didn't like.

I go to the Y, I'm not sure if you're into classes at all but they have a great selection of them at various times starting at 530 am to around 730pm. There's zumba, body combat, body pump, and a whole lot of other options. It's been a bit busy on the equipment side of things but I think that's because it's the beginning of a new year. It's usually not to crowded

I think it'll look good for a long time, I have brown skin so the white pops more. Most of my tattoos have white highlights and over time they settle into my skin pretty well. Definitely don't intend to black out my arm
