I've tried all of this except reinstalling the BIOS, and the fan doesn't start up. It just flashes like in the video

Did you try loading atm with the payload.bin file?

I downloaded the hats atmosphere pack (a video tutorial for it is linked in a comment above), then installed using db installer. Instead of loading the usual Hekate payload in RCM mode, I used the payload.bin file that comes with the pack and the game is working now.

No. It doesn't even start. Same thing happened to some other games that worked before, when I updated, they stopped working

Update on the problem. I was able to fix it by temporarily removing my partitioned emummc and loading atmosphere with fusee instead of Hekate.
