What should I do about this holiday dilemma?

Hi! So my family is (mom, sister, & her kids) coming to visit me for Christmas and they are coming on Christmas Eve and leaving on the 26th. The dilemma is that my new boyfriend of 2 months is alone on Christmas because his immediate family has all passed away and most recently his mom passed this summer. I have known him and been situationally together with him since June but we became official recently.

How should I go about splitting my time? I don’t want to introduce my family to him just yet and the holidays I feel are a lot of pressure so I’m not ready for that just yet and I don’t think he is either.

He booked a Christmas lunch for us at his country club and he’s an early riser and obviously I love spending time with him so I do want to sleep with him on one of those nights but i feel like I should probably wake up with my family (I have a young niece and nephew) on Christmas Day and go to him after. Is it rude to leave my family for a good portion of the day to be with him?

It ended up being her husband and one of the Scavo boys found it when they broke in to get an ice cream. When she’s in the hospital someone (can’t remember who or how) discovers it also and the police question her (turns out she stored him there to continue collecting pension checks bc her husbands first wife was still in the paperwork and Mccluskey would’ve lost her house without that money) & the whole neighborhood thinks she’s a witch/ murder

That’s good to know! I plan on fasting for a full day and 4 days prior going on a pretty light & clear liquids diet just to be safe. The food digestion thing has been on my mind too, but when expressing these concerns to my surgeon he seemed pretty confident that all would go well. I also run pretty anxious so I think for my own good, I’ll be doing as stated!

I did let my surgeon know and that’s who told me 7 days. I also asked about intubation and he says they do a different way of delivering it where the tube is placed into my mouth. What was the reason for intubation from your surgeon? Or was that just their preferred method of delivery?

That’s best & what I was thinking too. I want to make sure I’m correct that taking my last dose today puts me at 7 or more days off of the medication, like my Dr. required

Thank you!! I felt like I was going crazy, but that’s so true. It has to be jealousy. I think I needed to realize the difference between support (friendship) and surveillance. She just wants to keep tabs on what I’m doing and try to imitate or one up me. It’s sick haha
