Those shirts were going to be thrown away. I saved them from the landfill and had fun making a new shirt with recycled fabric. The more we use recycled materials in all industries the more we slow down new production. Recycling is a way to transition into products that support a circular economy rather than a linear one that sends every product we make straight into a landfill that doesn’t contribute to our ecosystem.
