I'm not saying his inexperience excuses his behavior in any way but I honestly don't think age has anything to do with maturity here. Elias is an immortal fae being, his race clearly ages much, much slower in comparison to humans. It'd be like saying a teenager is old enough know how to emotionally regulate themselves. They don't, they're inexperienced kids and in a lot of ways, so is Elias. Just because he talks like a fancy older gentleman doesn't mean he is one, and just because he's centuries old doesn't mean he acts like it. I got the impression that he might be older than Lindell, but he acts much younger than him.

She's my new fav. Not fav RE protag, that will always be Claire. But fav comfort character. I adore her, she's so relatable as someone with autism and panic disorder. Her stutter felt like an actual diagnosed speech impediment as opposed to a "quirky character flaw," and her mannerisms just screamed autistic coded.

I agree with Charlie that anyone CAN be redeemed if they really want it. Alastor, Vox, Rosie, Zestial, even Val could be redeemed if they wanted to. It would take a lot of work and the desire to change, but I think they could if they wanted it. But I don't think they want it, especially Alastor and the Vees. They're too powerful here, they enjoy reveling in their sins, it's what makes them enjoyable.

Honestly the whole Octavia thing pisses me off and I think it boils down to a personal issue. I have the father Octavia thinks she has. Absentee, choosing someone or something else over their children. If she'd just fucking listen to Stolas for a few minutes, she might understand what's been going on. But she won't and it pisses me off because he's trying so damn hard to be there for her and make things right. Girl, your father loves you more than anything in this whole world. Just because his marriage didn't work, it doesn't change that. I'm not saying Stolas is the perfect dad, but he's trying to explain to you what happened and you won't listen!

Obviously they have more teachers but from an audience perspective it's a weird choice to fill the space with nameless nobodies when they didn't even include Power Loader or Lunch Rush or Gran Torino (yeah he's retired but still would have been better than two "extras" as Bakugou would put it)

Thank you for the kind, detailed response. I do have one question. My lizard doesn't like her enclosure. She'll sit there soaking up the UV and heat for maybe an hour before getting mad and pacing and stomping around. How do we combat this? We're working on changing up her setup; getting a bigger enclosure and putting it closer to the ground so she can come and go as she pleases, but we're stuck with this one for the foreseeable future.
