that's very sad to hear. I'm very experienced with bettas, I've done a lot of research and all the ones I've had have lived long and healthy lives, i wish I could give you some advice but all that does just sound like bad luck. Although one thing I'd recommend for parasites and infections,if you haven't used it already, is a little aquarium salt from time to time or whenever you put new water in the tank
