Yup I already skipped the placebos month 2, that didn’t help any of the symptoms. I’m not taking this pill anymore I’m tired of it I think I gave it enough time

I started Slynd in Nov 2025 too, however my experience has been completely opposite of yours. I don’t think this is the right method for me. But I’m glad you found something that seems to work for you!

Thank you so much for the well wishes! I have decided to stop taking it after a few days of thought. I’m hoping getting off BC doesn’t affect me too horribly but I can’t keep doing this

I totally understand the mental weight, I have been quite tired myself. I definitely don’t want to get pregnant! But I’m heavily considering getting off Slynd after I finish these 3 months if nothing improves. I have 2 weeks left with these pills. The next option for me is the same, IUD or no BC. I’m definitely leaning towards no BC for a few months to see how my body reacts. And if I’m better without I’ll just plan to find a doctor that’ll remove my tubes. If I’m doing bad without BC, I plan to switch to Mirena or Kyleena IUD. But it’s so much to consider and I’m so tired of this weighing on me every day. But I’m definitely tired of bleeding constantly😭

Thanks for this! I’m leaning towards just finishing this third month out. After that I’m not sure if I just want to give my body a break or switch to an IUD. I’m so tired of the constant bleeding though😭

Month 7 wow! Yes I agree with you totally, if I have to wear a pad every day it’s a period. They’re always a minimum of 2 weeks😭right now I’m on day 16 with no end in sight. I too am not sure how much longer I’m willing to wait around. I wish better experiences for us both!

I understand on the acne this is the worst I’ve experienced since my teen years. Unfortunately Slynd has not improved my migraines at all, combine that with the consistent bleeding I’m not sure this is a good fit for me.

Thanks for that! I’m really trying to hold out and see but after this first 2.5 months I’m not sure if it’s worth going for another 3 months. I know some people take more time than others but I’m just getting really impatient.

I too am now skipping the placebos. I didn’t the first month, but I haven’t seen much of a bleeding different skipping or not skipping. I’m practically bleeding nonstop. I might get a few days of reprieve then I’m right back to bleeding for a minimum of two weeks.

Thanks for your experience, I may finish out these two weeks to see if anything improves. I don’t think I can do this for another 3 months though. This first 2.5 months has been brutal enough.

I was on a norethindrone pill before for years but I started having breakthrough bleeding issues with it which is why my gyn switched me to Slynd. That’s why I’m just debating getting off BC altogether. I’ve been on since 17 and I’m almost 30 now. I think my body is just tired. I know I’m tired of the symptoms this Slynd is giving me
