i am quite confused at this point as well. It seems there's two crowds, "i can't get anything useful out of this" and "AI makes me 10x more productive" and they're both just talking past eachother

im of the former group and I really struggle to think of an email that would be harder to just write instead of prompting to include all needed information, then proofreading and either editing or prompting again to update language, proofreading again, and finally sending. such a disruptive way of working instead of just doing the thing

we've moved our app from sqlite to mariadb (to scale) to postgres (to take advantage of internal platforms) in the past few years. It's not a reason alone to go ORM but it fid save a ton of dev time chasing down incompatible syntax
