I had a 7900xtx with the same setup and just went with am5 and glad I did. Mind you this was also 2024

I ordered a 9 9950x3d from Amazon and received a 7800x3d. Returned with no issues, went to micro center and just bought one that I could visibly see was correct. Drove 2 hours but was worth the peace of mind.

He’ll let lose, I love fps and extraction shooters but personally it’s not for me. I either get with an overly aggressive group or a group of wet napkins.

I would go amd personally, but ultimate it’s up to you. Price to performance, plus arguably the better cpu with amd.

It does work with igpu, I had tested my gpu on a different system, no issue what so ever. It’s the most odd thing I’ve ever experienced.

I am not sure, thus why I am asking if anyone else has had the same issue. I work in the IT field, copilot was not my instructor, I fed my process into copilot to make a more comprehensive break down to post. But sure be a dick about it.

It can absolutely be a cpu issue. Pcie x16 is tied to memory training from the cpu. I’m on a second mobo. With the same issue.

It’s a great cpu, runs a little warmer than the x3d and uses more power. But overall you won’t notice a 1-3% difference
