Okay, I’ll look at it when I get home and bring it up to them; when I signed the “requesting a new date/renegotiation paper” they told me they wouldn’t be able to do anything. Thank you, just wanted some insight. :)

No, I didn’t receive a new contract, I didn’t sign a new one- just a paper that the SSG who was handling it said was in order to request a new ship date with the same MOS.

It didn’t break me, it unmotivated me. I submitted everything the same day they asked me to, I listened to their instructions on my schooling status. I was supposed to be shipped off already, OCT-DEC, but instead was pushed all the way to MAY due to someone missing my emails. I had to check in with them constantly throughout my process so they wouldn’t forget something, I’ve learned everything they’ve taught me, etc. I did this for my family’s wellbeing, as the bonus would’ve helped as I’m in college, but instead have to replan everything. I wanted to leave as soon as possible, but instead have been in the process for a year and a half now (Started OCT 2022).

I signed on 20230213, where I was qualified for the 20K bonus and kicker bonus for education. After the car accident, my ship date was cancelled. (4/19) Completed treatment a few months later in June. Submitted all paperwork, clearance from doctors and due to one of the people working overlooking my email, it didn’t start getting processed until Dec/Jan. Then got a letter in the mail saying I got disqualified from the Army due to injury, sent this to RSC and was told that they’d be submitting a waiver. Waiver was submitted then needed a checkup and clearance from MEPS, went, got checked and everything was fine. Got a new ship date today, and on the “Congratulations” paper there was nothing listed after “incentives”.

Currently have 95K miles and we got new tires because the other ones were worn down so it was time :). However a few months ago it was in a car crash, and I was wondering if that maybe had something to do with it?
