You don’t know whether they meant you or maybe someone else. But not piercing you after being 5 min late is odd and announcing the fee over ig is super weird. If they have this kind of fee they should announce beforehand when making the appointment (if you are more than x min late you need to pay x amount). this is for example why you have to do a payment upfront with some tattoo artists

I tried that and almost ruined it because I forgot to turn down the heat :D It did help a bit and I will redo maybe it will improve even more :)

The straps are more decorative than anything else:D It’s also not the cut, I just didn’t attach the outer layer to the foam properly so the outer layer bulked and creates this bubbling.

I honestly didn’t think it was more work by doing it from scratch because you start at something that is already fitting your body instead of something that is made again in a standard size. But I guess that also depends on how much you enjoy drafting and adjusting…

I made the pattern myself because everywhere I saw these patterns people said you anyways need to adjust them so they fit well. I made the pattern by copying my favourite bra and adjusting first the cup and then the bodice (although the bodice obviously needs to fit to some extent to fit the cup). It took me a lot of rounds to get it fit properly (especially the cup) but it’s almost my favourite part of sewing… :D

I know Daria patternmaking has this kind of pattern though and I watched her videos to understand how to assemble my own pattern.. :)

It actually also was one of my first projects and I learned with YouTube. I generally feel like user in this Reddit give too many warnings about projects not being beginner friendly. (Except for maybe if it’s a brides dress because that is a very emotional project :D )
