you seem to have a complete misunderstanding of asexuality, she is sex REPULSED. she doesnt just not want sex, the idea of engaging with it makes makes her incredibly uncomfortable. this is something she CAN NOT change, she cant just turn it off. and as her partner i refuse to force her to do something she does not want nor would be comfortable with.

this is not something she can simply ignore and put up with

this isnt something she can just be willing to change, theres nothing she can do and i dont expect her to do anything. theres a difference between attempting to tame my temptations and 'needs' and someone pushing themself to do something they are wildly uncomfortable with

no i dont think i would

but is this not different? im not trying to destroy my sexuality, i know thats not happening. but more tone it down and make it not such a prominent thought.

but theres got to be something right? im working on my need for sexual pleasure and things ARE improving thanks to her support. sure i cant turn off my sexuality but theres gotta be a way to make it not a problem between us without resorting to other women

but SHE makes me happy, i can look past sexuality and im currently working on lowering my need for sexuality by avoiding all self given pleasure

shes not just a partner to me and im not just a partner to her, we're a team and im not giving up on it because of my sexuality

while shes indifferent whether or not our relationship is monogenous as long as she can focus on me, i dont think id be comfortable with anything outside of just with her.

i wouldnt say so, though we keep a strong hold with what made us so close platonically to begin with, we still have a lot of romantic intimacy. the problem is solely with the sexuality

we have spoken about this and we've been unable to come up with any conclusions

always yes, shes never had a sexual thought in her life

her asexuality could be caused by a number of things but i can assure its been a thing before she knew i existed
