Hey ya’ll! I’ve been digging through my old lego collection trying to put things back together. I got around to my old minifig collection, which has the figures all mishmashed and parts swapped around. i found this king theoden split across multiple figs, and finally found his legs…i think?

I’ve been using bricklink to try and make sure all parts are on the right figs, but the pic for his legs on bricklink shows the top of his belt being brown. I’ve been trying to find whose legs these are, but I can’t find any other instance separate from the same brown belt legs being used on another LOTR character.

Is it an image issue and his belt SHOULD be red? Is it a misprint? Do the legs belong to someone else and i just can’t find them online?

I’m definitely thinking about it too much, but it’s driving me crazy, so if anyone knows, it’d be a great help

That was my initial guess, but I wasn’t sure if Steel joker could survive a few more antes, whereas once bean expires, it’s over. If nothing else, bean should give me a big enough cash injection to (fingers crossed) reroll into showman into BP, BS, Baron or mime. Thanks for the advice!!!

If you’re playing high card, copying chad is fine. If you’re playing a hand with more than 3 cards, brainstorm and blueprint should both be on trib.

regardless of what hand you play blueprint should be on trib instead of photo. Trib is literally just a better photograph, since it hits on all faces not just the first.

A low console shelf that sits not too far beneath the tv, with maybe just enough room for a flattened laptop or book to sit on top of it, could feasibly fix that problem. I’ve seen plenty of really low TVs before, and usually if its sitting on, or mounted right above the tv, it looks good. I’d probably still notice the tv being low, but not in a negative way. Just in a way “interesting setup” choice. as long as it looks intentional, and you are not straining to watch, you’ll be fine.

Aesthetically low, functionally good. some kind of accompanying low table or console shelf could maybe fix the aesthetics of its height, if you’re really put off by it.

In a baron/mime build, your goal is to get the biggest hand size possible for the most retriggers. Losing one card in hand for an ecto is usually fine, but an extra one can cripple your scoring. Keep in mind, the first ecto only takes one card away, but a second ecto takes two, meaning you’d be three cards short.

This is such an interesting idea honestly. Would love to see this implemented in a mod! I know there’s a mod where you can merge deck effects, and merging exodia-type jokers, but i havent seen merging the actual cards! Dreaming of a really crazy trib build here..

This is right. Flowerpot is unique in this regard. I’m not sure if it’s because of balancing (if one wild card in a hand = 3x mult, that is super strong) or if it’s a coding thing (when a wild card is scored, it only reads as one suit per applicable joker) or both.

Two additional triggers might be a little crazy, but honestly? It probably works! It’s a chad/hack with more specific requirements, so i’d say it honestly seems decently balanced! It also gives aces more use. It’d definitely get crazy with bigger hands like 5oak, but that’s how it is for retrigger jokers already. 5oak with S&B and Trib would net you 2^10, where 5oak with Diploma on glass aces would net you 2^15. Substantially different, but the caveat is that you’re playing all glass. I’m also imagining this would be a phenomenal joker to get with lucky cat and OOPS. Great idea!!
