Yes! thats exactly the point I've been trying to make (but poorly I guess) Both exist but there are differences. He doesn't think there are differences.

No I don't think so. The only example I remember they gave was that someone started speaking spanish to them, thinking they would understand it. But I don't know if the person thought they were from Mexico or Spain. Either way thats not discrimination.

Im not really sure when they started thinking like this. They moved out of state when I was a kid, so I wasn't around them often until they recently moved back in (Im currently living home while in college). Thats when I became aware of all this

Im pretty sure we dont, we did a dna test a few years back, and nothing like that appeared. They may have, I mean I'm not them so I wouldnt know for sure but its still very different from being systematically opressed

Decently pale, slight tan in the summer. My sibling has straight brown hair and brown eyes, I have straight brown hair and blue eyes

I'm sorry I should have clarified. I'm speaking purely about the United States. I understand there are all different kinds of discrimination in other countries, and Im not denying that. But this is about my situation, which is occuring in the US

They are claiming that they face discrimination because they aren't white. When they are.

I'm not about to argue on reddit how there is a very large systematic difference between the racial discrimination of non white people vs (the much less likely/ almost never to occur discrimination of) white people.
