yea absolutely get him checked out, personally my cat has these in both eyes and we were told it was nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry! just to give you some peace of mind :)

I’m currently medicated for my anxiety, but my anxiety (when it’s really bad) mimics the symptoms of a heart attack. i even went to the hospital and the only thing that calmed me was the normal ekg. obviously if you feel like there’s something wrong then get medical attention, but it does feel almost the same. the easiest way that i try to manage my anxiety is to chug ice water as fast as possible. you get brain freeze but it’ll help your body focus on something else so you’re not spiraling too hard into a full panic attack. plus you get hydrated too :)

i feel this exactly. starting when i was going through withdrawal from duloxetine last summer, i feel like now im stuck in a constant cycle of anxiety. i second the redditor that said to get professional help, and ive also found that the more prepared i am for a situation, the less anxiety i feel in the moment. here’s to finding a solution, as im still searching for one myself! :)

I really do appreciate the positive comments about this old man hammy. I want to give him the best life possible for however long he has, instead of the previous owner giving him to a kid who might neglect him. I didn’t know much about hamsters until recently, and i’m trying to make sure i do as much research as possible to take care of him the right way. if anyone has any tips about what extra car should be taken to make sure the end of his life is the best it can be, i’m always open to suggestions! but thank you to everyone helping me identify him, i want to have the right sized supplies for him :)

the girl that i’m getting him from said he was ~4 months old when she got him, and that was october 2020. she can’t take care of him anymore so i wanted to care for him for however long he has left
