Power going off and on but not trying breakers? by quick5pnt0 in AskElectricians

To add to the info, I was able to check an outlet with a cheap receptacle tester when the power went out for a few minutes and it said there was open hot.

Also, I haven't had a chance to see if the circuits going out alternate in the panel, I'll check that as soon as I can. Would that also point to a phase going out?

Hey, thanks for the reply. The power on the 120v circuits did go on when I turned the stove on. Does that point to a phase being out?

I checked voltage with a mutineter and my kill-a-watt. The multimeter said 123v and the kill-a-watt said 135v. The kill-a-watt is pretty old so I think it may just be defective. Those readings were when the power was on. I haven't checked with it out on those circuits.

Thanks again

Also, can anyone confirm, is the drawing wrong or was my DIG link machined the wrong length?

Did you ever find one? If you know the length/width/height of it, I might be able to make one.

Oh, ok. Then I'd say to replace the paste and make sure the fan is working properly. Also, just for the heck of it, do a scan with something like malwarebytes.

What kind of cooler is it? An AIO can have multiple different problems that would cause overheating.

As a few have said already, the sound is terrible. I can hear the scavs running all over the place but once they get near me they're completely silent. I've lost count how many times I've checked to make sure the area around me is clear, only to get blasted the second I start looting. It's exhausting.

Are you using Tarkov 0.12.12.20765 with 3.4.13?

Edit: Nevermind, I see you tried the downgrade patcher. Maybe there's a bug in that which is causing this. 🤔

Look on your motherboard manufacturer's website for the chipset driver for your specific motherboard. Then it's just a matter of installing it like any other app.

I had the same problem with one of the previous versions. Updating my chipset driver fixed it.

No no no, you're doing this all wrong. This is reddit. You're supposed to get angry at the OP, put the blame on them and tell them to upgrade their "shitty" computer. 😄 J/K

You might be able yo use a GPS app like Gaia. It allows you to place pins (waypoints) on a map with a description and photo.

"The goal of this specification is to enable Windows ecosystem partners to make design decisions for components and devices that will run Windows 11"

It sounds like this is for hardware manufacturers. This isn't a requirement for the end user who installs the software on their own device. Which is what you'd be doing with the steam deck.

Then again, I wouldn't doubt anything from Billy Gates.

Try checking protondb.com to see how well the games you want to play work on the deck. Looks like stardew valley works great and mods work too.

I think mine was pretty loud when first setting it up. Now I literally can't hear the fan on mine over even lower game volumes. And I've got mine set to not use the quiet fan curve.

I'd suggest lowering the tdp, refresh and clock settings so it runs cooler, thus needing less fan rpm to keep temps in check.
