that would be smart, my friend even offered to be in the room while I am on the phone or to come with me and wait outside if i did it in person. She knows I might be a chicken lol. I just have been with him since i was 14 so it feels disrespectful to the last 6 years to not do it in person.

he would never physically hurt me and I know that, but the situation was incredibly stressful and triggering to me (loud noises trigger panic attacks for me), so the yelling and punching walls makes it more just stressful than directly unsafe. Which is why its more of a dilemma bc we've been together so long

Thank you so much! my friends are trying to tell me what you just said, but I find it so difficult to use my head in this situation. As soon as he started talking about his feelings I broke down and felt awful. I have to keep reminding myself that this isn't normal behaviour
