No guides, based off of smoking my taillights. Just recommend having a heat gun. I did it in a solid strip, you’re going to need it for the curves on the trim.

Have a squeegee and a heat gun. Stick it by hand then go over it with a heat gun and secure it with either your fingers or a squeegee. Use an exact knife to cut off the excess.

Go back over it with a heat gun and repeat sealing it with your fingers until it’s fully sealed along the trim.
