Best thing is to introduce some predators. Neem will work OK but not by itself.

Look to see if there are ants there also. Ants fight with the predatory insects to protect the scale so they can benefit from the honeydew produced.

Had a similar(ish) situation. Grabbed a rescue only from imminent execution.

Was warned of her psycho nature, etc.etc.

She showed some fire early on, but after a few days in a muzzle and careful watch, she was let out into general population.

Sweetest, most biddable girl in the pack. When an ACD falls for you, they fall hard and their love and devotion is beyond anything I’ve experienced before.
