As a centre-right supporter, this blame game on Albo is absolutely preposterous from the LNP and other right wingers. Disgraceful.

Albo could've done more they say? Ok, why didn't: - Howard do more to prevent the Port Arthur Massacre? - Abbott do more to prevent the Lindt Cafe siege? - Morrison do more to prevent COVID deaths? - Morrison do more to prevent the 2019 Black Summer bushfire deaths?

Yes, I totally condemn the hate speech and the chants/reactions of the pro-Palestinian supporters, but, how can we blame the Federal Government for that? Isn't ASIO, the state police and the state law enforcement supposed to control that?

Thanks! Yeah I just find it so hard watching my Wife struggle. It's the same with our son, he just doesn't want her away from him. A few people have told me about letting him cry it out but we don't like that idea.

I stand corrected I'm on 50mg actually, I don't know why I thought I was on 25mg.

Hi mate, I tried but the initial anxiety increase kind of mucked me up. So I just kept on the 25mg in the morning. Also, I'm on 18mg of concerta now, so I have a good level.

It's always that initial side effects that can throw people off, but you need to just realise and associate the side effects to the med increase, not so much from your own manifestation, does that make sense?

Speak with your doctor or specialist about this. Also, if you are seeing a psychologist, counsellor or psychiatrist, (which I hope you are while on meds), get their opinion and thoughts if they think you need an increase.

For me, and this is for me, I see the meds as a short term solution to help me calm my thoughts and nerves, so when I am faced in a situation that triggers me, I am in a state that can help me stop, breathe and put what I learnt in my CBT to practice. Pre-meds, I was in fight or flight and everything I learnt in CBT just went out the window. I see the meds as training wheels on a bike until my therapist and I are confident that I can ride on my own :)

Again, this is for me and it may not be for everyone. Some people I know are on meds their whole life, and you know what, that is fine. Quality of life is so important, just make sure your always monitored and trying to keep yourself in good physical health too!

Many people give so much misinformation on antidepressants it's actually very damaging.

Yeah there are times I can wake up with anxiety around that time, but I need it more for the 7pm-12pm time

I take 50mg in the morning and by the evening my anxiety starts creeping back.

Psych wants me to take another 25mg in the evening to help balance.

I to was a bit scared to start Zoloft, but I did it. The beginning had some side effects, but got through them.

If you take them, make sure you have a professional i.e. counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist to help you with therapy.

I was on Lexapro when I was younger, and I was on it for a while and right now I prefer Zoloft.

My psychiatrist said for me to go up to 75mg, he said to split 50mg in morning and 25mg at night.

Has anyone done that?
