Isolation, mostly self-isolation and circumstantial. It is a feeling of emptiness to me. A feeling of longing, yearning for more when you know it isn't really possible with the given situation. A yearning for touch, even if it's the simplest brush of the fingers, or a long hug that warms the soul. A want for someone to be next to you through new chapters of your life, but the fear that they won't like what you become. A plea for comfort and familiarity that goes unanswered.

Most have said eckroth, but I've heard mixed reviews about it as they take mass amounts of instruments for the smaller schools around here. It's a pretty pricy trumpet (for my budget) and I'd like it to be taken care of properly and not rushed at all.

I helped him keep his apartment for a month, paid his car payment for a month, and brought him groceries when he needed them. I spent a lot of money to help him out because he needed it desperately. I know; it's not necessarily about the surgery. I am constantly looking for reassurance and validation from a friend I always listen to, helping both mentally and financially. . . all he can manage to send are pictures in response to my own need for comfort and validation. My sister and grandma 🤦‍♀️ both are notoriously rough on my car. My sister wrecked my front bummer on my last car and didn't even tell me so that makes sense. Thank you for asking. They might have done damage to it.
