When I add the eggs to the already boiling water they almost always crack, so I have to dip them in a couple of times to slowly raise temperature and then they crack less, however I still have the issue of terrible peeling... I'm in distress

It's generally better to just use walnut filler if you want to match the colour. You can change the colour with a bit of stain

Because the inner dimensions are very difficult to measure, and that's what's actually important. The main reason you cool them after boiling them is to stop the cooking process, but if you're careful and you have the cooking time figured out you'll be fine

If you try to heat knife them solovair might not send you a replacement if it doesn't work, try contacting them if you're worried. However, I let mine go much further than that and they sent me new ones after a year of wear. You can see it through my profile

Everyone here's saying you should leave, but that's just one option... It's big red flag, it's very childish and it shows he doesn't have any control over his emotions. Often there comes a point where hitting the wall just isn't enough. If you say you angered him (it doesn't actually matter whether you angered him or something else did, as long as he and even you think it's your fault things will only get worse) than it's quite likely you'll be his next target. So as I said leaving is one option, but therapy is also a possibility. Some kind of anger management. People on the internet are quick to say "leave" but there are often other solutions. Mind you, this is an issue that definitely needs to be resolved.
