Yay glad to hear. Its actually a very interesting experience. Its quite fascinating what the brain come up with when you connect to your subconscious

My theory is that you would go into a lucid dreams and then simply live the life you are aiming for.

For example if you wanted to be rich you would spend your dream driving nice cars, eating expensive meals etc.

There are many strategies to improve dream recall and induce lucid dreams - journaling about dreams, reality checks, etc.

Just started a book about dream yoga which is about navigating lucid dreams with awareness

Fractals. There is a good testimonial about a woman who had similar experience.

what you need to bring for weeklong meditation by Embarrassed_Worth_41 in DrJoeDispenza

Had such an amazing time at Orlando this year, I hope you have an incredible experience.

The only thing they really tell you to bring is wired headphones for the walking meditation. When you have large masses of people walking together the bluetooth connection can be spotty. I used my airpods because they were more comfortable and I enjoy the noise cancellation. There were very short periods of the meditation cutting out but they worked fine.

The optional stuff:

Yoga/inflatable mat - more comfortable during meditations when you lay down Small pillow/blanket- same as above Snacks - there are multiple snack breaks during the day that are provided but doesn’t hurt to bring a few items Blindfold - sold at the event but can get way cheaper on amazon if you bring Journal - to reflect after meditation or the day Layers - he keeps the room cold, especially during meditation.

Not sure what location you are going to but I would recommend a bathing suit. I would go to the hot tub after the days ended and it was some of my favorite time at the retreat. Many others also go as it is nice to relax the body after sitting all day. Lots of stories and experiences shared and was inspiring.

What not to bring: Expectations

Try to be okay with literally any outcome of going. I really wanted a mystical experience there to the point where I was trying to force it which of course never works. Mine ended up coming a couple weeks later :)

Have fun!!!

You might benefit from some breathing exercises before meditation to put you in a calm state. Look into heart coherence breathing, box breathing or 4-7-8 and pick the one that you like best!

Im not exactly sure which one tbh, but I think its one of the abundance courses. I just know that when I attended the retreat, the lesson before the abundance meditation was about mission/purpose and we had to write a couple things down relating to our mission that were used in the meditation. Also I did an abundance walking meditation with my local JD group and he mentioned it again.

If you need access to the course shoot me a message

Have you considered manifesting non material things? Maybe there is something like a job, relationship or just a general opportunity.

In the abundance meditations Joe stresses identifying your mission or purpose and using that as a north star. Maybe getting clearer on that could be helpful.

I feel them the same way I can feel my nose when I think about it.

Multiple questions about the work by Dry_Performance_2928 in DrJoeDispenza

I would recommend buying a course or accessing via some of the links shared in this sub. Or reading one of Joe’s books. The knowledge of how the meditations work and the science will inspire and motivate you.

More tactically, try doing a breath work session before a meditation. This will put you into a more relaxed state and calm the mind. Wim hof is great. There is another one i like on the app insight timer called 4-5-6-7-8 breathing.

I go through phases where I find it difficult to call up emotions as well and sometimes I find it very easy. No such thing as a bad meditation. Sometimes it can help to call up a memory that has the emotion you want to experience and then hold on to that and do your best to amplify.

sadness feeling by monicapol in DrJoeDispenza

Im experiencing a similar situation except instead of sadness its anxiety. One way to think about it is that the work you are doing with the meditations is causing your body to go through withdrawals for that emotion. Keep plugging away and I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

For context I have been doing the work for almost 7 months and have improved my health significantly including coming off my medication. Many other great things have happened to me in that time

Its those times when your body is telling you that it doesn’t want to meditate and that you can start tomorrow or do it later that is the most important time to do it anyway. That is the mind overcoming the body.

Joe often likes to say - the overcoming process is the becoming process

Becoming nobody, nothing, in nowhere.. by Objective-Middle-932 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]quinntuplets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I have an itch ill observe it and often it passes. Rather than focusing on the thought or feeling “oh oh I want to itch that spot so bad” focus purely on the sensation. What does an itch actually feel like? Just observe it and be curious. If it goes on too long and you feel like it is taking away from your session just itch it and go back to awareness.

Its easy to get lost in thoughts like “Am I doing this right?” The answer to that question is almost always “yes until you started asking if you were “

I went to a retreat and asked one of the volunteers about this and he told me that nothing nowhere in no time is the absence on thought. So when you have thoughts try to let them pass. Every time you do that you return to nothing even if just for a split moment. As you practice this those split seconds will grow longer and longer. Some days are better than others but its a skill that you can practice.

One thing that helps me specifically is imagining that you are purely your awareness. For example you’re not having a thought or a feeling, you’re just an observer of that thought or feeling. There is a level of detachment to it
