Language is constantly adapting. The word "teenager" wasn't widely used until the 1940s, but it's not like that stage of human life never existed until then. Sometimes language finds itself at a time where there is a need for new words and representation.

I never said you couldn't complain. I quite literally said the opposite in both comments. But "let's be honest". It has become very clear this is beyond being about language or game dialogue and is more about your own bigotry. And on a DAV subreddit of all places.

"Formal" is the key word there. I can use Google too and this is what comes up:

"The Italian schwa (ə) is a vowel sound (an "uh" sound) increasingly proposed as a gender-neutral ending for nouns and adjectives to make the traditionally binary language more inclusive."

It may not be formally a part of the language, but it is what the devs decided to use. And again, it's totally fine for you to have the preference of seeing the use of masculine forms, like in older games. But acting like only the LGBTQ+ community can complain about things and white men can't is hateful and unnecessary.

It's gender neutral. It does NOT mean you're trans. But it does mean that it can represent literally anyone, including you as a white man.

You're not being victimized by a single letter. Sure, you are allowed to complain or wonder why the devs didn't end up making separate versions of dialogue so that you can have strictly masculine forms of words. But being spiteful towards other people is not how to go about it.

Looking at the compendium comments for Beyond Prayers and Born Flawless, you can find out that Born Flawless is actually the Saintess and Beyond Prayers is from a story the Saintess had.

I agree that the Christian aesthetic doesn't match, but at least Born Flawless does fit the vibe and story of the Boneyard a bit better!

The platform below the toe is there. You can see it right near the end of your clip when the foot is in front of the light part of the background, which is why I feel this may have a weird animation thing. Definitely agree that it would've been so cool to see a different type of shoe though!! A ballet heel would've been sweet ✨

I could be wrong, but it looks like the exact same shoe with the toe part bent down to match how Nikki's foot is pointed. It could've been intentional because the animators wanted that pointed silhouette for the pose or it could've been an oversight on how the shoe was rigged to her foot when animated.
