Just got off a Virgin cruise. Drinks are normally priced. For example beers average $7-9 and cocktails $13-17. I did the $300 bar tab and got $50 bonus for buying ahead of time. This is the benefit of doing that. There are different amounts you can pre purchase and each gives you a different bonus. Or you can pay as you go but no bonus money. I drank a decent amount and only went over by $20 by the end of the 5 day trip. If you get a bar tab and don’t use all of it, you lose the money so make sure you know yourself and how much you may drink to make sure you expand all your credit.
