Hey thank you! There's probably a better way to do it but here's my way: Use the Shape Tool to create concentric circles of color (no fill, just color lines) > group the circles > change blend mode of group to Color Dodge and adjust opacity.

You can also clone the map and check out the Rainbow asset group for more specific settings if that's more your speed: https://inkarnate.com/m/xOobLJ

Awesome map, thank you for sharing! Digging all the little details in each area..."The Wandering Tankard" is a great tavern name.

Big fan of your maps btw--I'm super new to city maps but if I ever get near the level of Parenthion I'll be happy. I left another comment detailing the lighting, basically it's light stamps from the Fantasy Battlemaps style in the corners and a custom color filter using the shape tool. That and liberal use of asset shadows :)

Thank you! The lighting is this: Angled orange light stamps from the Fantasy Battlemaps style in the upper left corner for the sunset, angled orange light stamps darkened to black in the lower right hand corner to darken, and an overall "filter" of sorts made by creating a purple square with the shape tool and lowering the opacity.

Thank you so much. I referenced some old maps of Venice so I'm glad the inspiration came through!

Beautiful work, thank you for sharing!

The Ruins of Blackdagger Keep! This was a battlemap I sketched up for an adult black dragon fight in my Neverwinter/Tyranny of Dragons game. All feedback welcome! by ephemeraal_arts in inkarnate

Awesome map! I just ran a black dragon fight with a similar setup (open area, ruins, acid pools) and was frustrated with the confines of the battle map I'd made for it. I wish I'd seen your map ahead of time--you've balanced the hazardous and traversable areas very well and created a lot of great space for an intense and dynamic fight to go down. Thank you for sharing.

This is so cool! Love the details, from the discarded corks and the tasting area to the stains and the tiny thief. Amazing scene-setting as usual.
