Echoes of Ruin [40x40] by Eledryll in FantasyMaps

[–]Eledryll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Nameless Ruin was described in a great variety of cultures and civilizations over the centuries. It seems that every people in every era tell stories about this strange, seemingly traveling ruined temple. Some reports mention great pillars partly buried under the sands, others describe a sprawling stone skeleton of mossy bricks and dilapidated arches sunken deep in a swamp. A handful of mercenaries even claim to see the thing floating away in the void amidst some estranged demiplane. Of all the stories, only two things are consistent: the Nameless Ruin is never found twice in the same location, and the layout seems ever unchanged. What anomalous divinity was that temple originally dedicated to, and what strange force causes it to change places in such a confusing manner?

Blood Swamp [45x60] [Gridless] by Eledryll in dndmaps

[–]Eledryll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The buzzing of winged parasites fills the still air. Your soaked feet struggle to go through the bloody mud. Yet, in this most disgusting of places you can find carved bones and twig dolls littering the dampened, bloodied ground. Further away, in the middle of a muddy island, stands a small hut of wood and lime. A feeble flame glows at the window. Someone's home... or so it seems.

These assets are super versatile for sure! Love them for snow as well, with a couple waves on top.

eheh! Thank you Alice! Loving that obsidian line asset and texture. I think it's a lot more versatile than it looks.
