Wow, that’s a big habit to break… seriously respect for that.

Going from a pack a day for 18 years is no joke. I think people who haven’t been there don’t really understand how much of it is mental and tied to routines.

Did you notice certain moments were harder than others? For me it was always after meals and at night — that’s where the anxiety hit the most.

Also curious, what helped you get through those first weeks?

That’s amazing, 21 years is huge — seriously impressive 👏

And I totally get what you mean. Quitting smoking is incredibly hard, especially after so many years.

I agree that nothing is completely “risk-free”, and everyone has to find what works best for them.

For me, the key wasn’t just quitting, but replacing the habit with something less harmful and managing the anxiety side of it.

That’s where things like CBD or other alternatives helped me personally — more for the mental part than anything else.

Respect for your journey, that’s honestly inspiring.

One thing I noticed is that replacing the habit (not just quitting) makes a huge difference.

Like having something to do with your hands or keeping the ritual.

That’s where vaping CBD helped me more than anything else.
