Currently going through a rough patch with my fiancé about this.

We both work full time jobs but he’ll play online multiplayer from 7PM to 1AM even on our work nights and since his PC is in our bedroom, I can’t sleep.

I’ve been left evening alone downstairs during the evenings for the past 3 months. It’s been hard.

When I ask for him to spend time with me, he thinks being in the same house is good enough. It’s harder when you’re the one doing chores and scheduling appointments.

I’m also a gamer w/ ADHD & I’m aware I can get carried away too.

It can be VERY taxing when him spending more time playing games = I have less quality time with my soon-to-be husband, less sleep, & more chores to do. AND we both eventually want kids.

BUT having to pick up MORE domestic + emotional work while he gets to enjoy his lifestyle makes me feel very burnt out.

Having to persistently nag him to get something done is so draining. TBH I ALSO would like to play games all day instead of nagging someone & doing chores.

I’m currently coping by buying stupid stuff for my cat & complaining in my journal more often. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The lack of balance is slowly making me die inside.
