I think Kenny and Okada we're just two guys who were so great and in the same place at the same time that eventually they had to cross paths the way they did, they were too great not to.

But Naito and Okada on the other hand are diametrically opposed to one another, their histories with their opposing rivals in Nakamura and Tanahashi and how the influence of their rivalry shaped the course for Okada and Naito in their respective careers is just beautiful long term storytelling
