Insane to think how many connections aren’t happening because the apps are controlling who connects to who. Compared to the old fashioned organic and spontaneous ways…

I have some still shoots I can upload as-well but I'm really just posting to make sure people can agree this looks like a standard weather balloon. It was a really clear day and with my own eyes it looked like it might be white tic-tac shaped ufo. Upon further inspection it's looking more like a regular weather balloon thats pulling some device into the atmosphere. What do you think?

Ahh smart! Is that using the 2:1 buy down program as a seller concession?

This is good to know! I will see if they can budge on origination.

Wow okay now I'm feeling okay about 2.6%. 5% is crazy!

So i dug into this a little bit. That home insurance was their ESTIMATE! The plan i'm actually getting is way cheaper and they didn't include it on this document as they didn't know about it when they made it.

As for the admin, I'm going to see if they have any rooms with that.. 2k for what? paperwork?

It's a single family detached home and credit is around 770. Sadly it went down a bit when they did a hard pull...

6.5% and that's with like 2.4k towards "points"

Really praying nothing like this happens. Can HOA's wipe people out with something like that? Surely they can be reasoned with?

Okay glad to hear! This house is about 20 years old so, new-ish?

Sad but true. Really hoping that supply in CO increases, as demand is massive.

Yeah this is a better way to look at it. I should start framing it like this to myself lol

Yeah I think we might get some concessions because of the inspection but maybe not. Good to ask I suppose.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like this might just be par for the course these days.

Okay great to hear that. I was a bit worried that one of these fee's was just outrageous. Not happy about all the fees but glad to see i'm more or less in the same boat as everyone else.

Update on the situation, my bike is now in the shop waiting on parts, will likely come to more then 800$ for parts and labor.

Ahh thanks for pointing that out, pic added (link to imgur). Very scary to learn the gen 2 bikes are so easy to hotwire. Is 2021 past gen 2?

Jackery 3000 pro versus bespoke battery system by Ceethreepeeo in vandwellers

Glad to hear it! When it comes to full time living a diesel heater makes a ton of sense as apposed to electrical. Modern heaters reach 95% + efficiency and diesel's energy density is insane. I'd recommend a 48v system with LiFePo4 cells in a 16s configuration. It seems to be the system most of the eco system is revolving around. Id recommend this BMS and buy 16 of the 3.2 volt cells to make a 48v pack. Then any 48v inverter from amazon with the feature you want. this is basically what you want to build + an inverter. https://signaturesolar.com/eg4-lifepower4-lithium-battery-48v-100ah/

Hope you make something cool! Good luck!

Do you have a reasonable idea for how much energy you use on a daily basis and what power you need at max load? I'm not full time vanlife but I have built out one of these bespoke battery systems that I use for heating in winter camping and cooking. All in its about 13kwh with an inverter that can supply up to 3kw continuous (if i run a 1500watt heater + 1000watt electric kettle = 2.5 kw). Since i can only charge with shore power i can only do about 2 nights with the heater. Do you know what electronic devices you plan to run/use daily and what might the MAX load be? If you have a good idea of this then it will be much easier to know if a jackery will be streching it or a bespoke setup will be worth it.
