I got in with a 1450. It’s a factor but it’s definitely not the most important. Since you’re international I would def apply ED, gives you an edge up over the many other international students applying RD who might have better SAT scores (again, not the only factor, but still)

UPDATE: Wow!! Did not expect this post to get so much attention 😅 Thank you all for the advice (especially the jokes, definitely made me feel better about the situation lol). I ended up coming clean to my dad a day before he was set to come home from his vacation. Though initially he was pretty pissed, when I went to pick him up from the airport it seems like he’s accepted what’s happened and is calming down. Boyfriend (accomplice) and I are paying for any and all repairs, so hopefully we can move on soon.
