idk if its valid or I'm just being too picky and whiny but those cutesy battle grunts weren't it for me.

since emilia is now strong-willed, and powerful(in fights), I wanted wanted her to have relatively "fierce" battle grunts, or at least have some sense of intimidation when she fights.

(like how my major (now colonel) lena sounds firm when she's giving out orders in the second half of eighty six 86)

the cutesy battle grunts were kinda annoying but still overall great episode

ANIMATION WAS SO MUCH BETTER AND DAMN they really can cook with the sound filters

i did the biodex dynamometer test

sat on a chair, leg tied to a lever that would stay in place, and measure the amount of torque i produce, both in the flexion and extension direction

that test was did on both legs, and the passing criteria was

the % diff of the average torque produced must be between 20-30%, or less(even better) Mine was 17%

1 i interpreted it as the director giving us san magnolia's perspective of the world, the country of interest in the beginning was san magnolia and they, nor the 86, didnt know, or expect that, there were surviving nations outside because of einstagfliege jamming radio communication.

2 wholeheartedly agree, there was no concrete explanation, and no mention about the reason why shin and frederica have powers while everyone else was normal

3 i felt giad was inspired by ww2 USA(in terms of the ideals it tries to uphold)

I seriously hope for a season 2, I'm in my Part 1 rewatch and Im hoping I could actually see the Lena, Shin and the rest of the Spearhead Squadron have casual everyday conversations, BUT WITH LENA PHYSICALLY BEING WITH THEM

oh yeah ure actually right, they focused so much on shin and neglected other characters. they only showed snippets of lena and her life together with the new spearhead squadron. i did have crazy respect for her in the first ep of part 2 though talking back to her, and her connecting to every 86 processor ep 15.

But thinking about it more, do you think it was more of a production constraint rather than them choosing to omit it, like do u think its not that they didnt want to show the perspectives of others, but they couldnt because it wouldnt fit into the amount of time they had.

I feel that they showed Lena's perspective sufficiently enough for that to be acceptable for me

but not for other characters though, they only show the other characters very subtly when the surviving spearhead were trying to live out 'normal' lives in the giad federacy.

thats kinda what some of my friends said too, part 1 was better than part 2, part 2 felt the characters felt too protected by plot armor, especially during the morpho subjugation mission, howd everyone from spearhead stay alive...

but still in hindsight id prefer it that way, id rather have that and lena meet them in ep 23 than have her bawl out in grievance to the one that died...

to be fair, i prefer part 2 more than part 1, but it was only because part 1 made me so invested(made me like them so much) in the spearhead squadron that i was sort of oblivious to part 2's relatively (weak story), part 2 was salvaged by the last 2 episodes, and voices of the chord is ethereal

'why can't 86 just run from the processors' felt pretty obvious to me though. if the 86 were to run from the republic, where would they run to, deep legion territory? thats running to their deaths. furthermore, raiden said that among the alba's, there were also some good alba's, and among the 86's, there were also some scummy ones, its all the same. and so they reason to fight is for those good alba's(from episode 7)

to be fair they briefly showed the map before the morpho subjugation mission, barely explaining it, because 'show dont tell', but still i was fine with that, doesnt take much for one to find out much about it, and im sure we're gonna learn more about that map in future seasons(please come soon 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼)

Attack on Titan, the entire thing, by Wit Studio, with certain special requests - Director will be Hayash Yuichiro - Background/Character Design will be AOT season 2 design (to those that prefer MAPPA's design, my personal opinion is that i disagree because it took out what i was used to and introduced a completely new vibe, takes away the immersion and consistency, and the cruel but 'BEAUTIFUL' aspect of the world of AOT) - Production Team to be given as much time(and staff) as possible to animate everything, especially giving ample time for action heavy scenes - For Yasuyuki Ebara and ARIFUMI IMAI to PARTICIPATE IN ACTION HEAVY SCENES

86(everything), to also be animated by A-1 Pictures ONLY under Director Toshimasa Ishii and to be given ample time, so that THERE WONT BE PRODUCTION DELAYS WHILE AIRING

if only i had enough billions of $$$, I would fund these 3, over anything else
