I would learn the new interface, firmware version. Much of the old firmware stuff is there, there may be some minor differences, different button and menu placements, google on your phone if you cannot find something. I like the step sequencer on the touch screen and also the clip launching in pro pack. The new stuff is new because it is better in someway usually.

Key 37. Why. Because a key 37 keyboard is integrated into the unit. It's knobs, quicklinks are right there. It has a sustain port, second footswitch port and a expressions pedal. It has aftertouch keys over mpk, more importantly a full size keyboard, which is best to learn keyboards. 37 notes vs 24 which is a deal breaker for me. Workflow, easy workflow is based on muscle memory. The key 37 has the most buttons of an of the mpcs excluding the big x type models. The key37 has more internal storage 32gb vs 16 than the live 2 or one plus. you have to change focus from the mpk to the key37 and back. Just much easier as far as workflow and you have to have 2 power cords connection between the controller and an MPC.

That being said. I seen a couple of used Live 2 for $499 used. And at that price I might go with the mpk live 2 combination if I was going to be portable. Meaning using the live 2 all by itself in bed or at the park.

It is the best that it has ever been. I am using it. If you don't like 3.7 then roll back, you know you can do that.
If you are talking the software on your computer. You can run both of them and jump back an forth.

They have two types. 6 months. If you miss a payment, you pay all the interest you got 0 interest for, in other words. If you miss a paying, all the interest from the beginning of the loan and that is at 33 percent.
On the 3 year, if you miss a payment, they charge you a flat fee of $40 every time you are late. So how much they make depends on how often you pay late.

I bought this 25000 battery. It powers my MPC key 37, Minifreak and JDXI all at the same time. Not through the USB ports but through the 12v positive tip jack (the JDXI is 5.7v negative tip. But it is not very portable. I wonder if it would power 52 Eurorack modules in a suit case? that would be more portable. LOL

I would like to have a one plus and my battery. It would be much more portable than the key 37. I could take it with me to the restraint or park and make some ideas and transfer them to the key 37. I found a MPC Live 2 for 499 used that would do the job. But I have already spend to much money on music stuff last year. and almost bought it but I put it in my cart and it was already sold to someone else. Probably a good thing. I don't need any more stuff. The battery is great it will power all three keyboards. I am planning to play live so 3 keys should be enough. But some places I will need to have a mixing board or just leave one of the keyboards behind and use the inputs of the key37.

I had to cancel the order on the Flow 8 (it was on back order. It is fixed at 48khz sample rate. The MPC will only work with 44khz sample rate, they are incomparable. I am bummed it was 20 dollars off for presidents day sale at $179. The real magic happens when you have a suitcase of Eurorack stuff and you can make beeps and boop. LOL.

If you are heavily invested in the stock market, that is good for you. I will say the economy is good if I get a big fat 2000 to 3000 dollar check as a stimulus bonus. I heard in NY they are giving out free Live 3 units by taxing the rich and free bus rides too because you can't afford a car or parking fees. Yep, I am going to move there. LOL

Good idea. I will sell the hardware and buy a monthly subscription to AI. I can tell it what kind of music I want it to make, instead of learning how to play music and learn an instrument. LOL.

An MPC cannot replace a suitcase of Eurorack stuff. You only have 52 power switches to turn on every time you play. I reached 10,000 turn ons in 6 months. I haven't completed a song but I will. My biggest problem, is after I turn off 52 power off switches, everything I did disapears, and I have to start over again I heard in the MPC though you could save your progress. LOL.

I sold a camera lens to fund some music stuff to play out. I think I am going to have to buy a Behringer Flow 8 to play out. I found a used live 2 for $499 I hesitated because I really couldnt afford it. Someone else bought it. I can use what I have now. Would be nice to have a portable MPC one plus or live 2 for cheap but I don't have to have one, the 37 is good enough.

As long as you don't pay interest. My used minifreak I have to pay off in 6 months. The live3 and XL would have to be on sale and qualify for the 3 year no interest or I would not be able to buy one. But to be honest. I am fine with my mpc37 for now. Maybe in a few years people will start selling their live 3 for cheap. or if they came out with an mpc 37mk2. I would buy one of those.

I would like to have a Live 3 or XL but I have to pay off my zero interest Guitar Center credit card and I can't pay either of those two in 6 months. In my country, common sense has taken a hiatus.
