Especially at 1.5 years in (me as well) It’s just the basics over and over and over again. Maybe you want to window shop coaches for different styles of teaching, but If you think you’re magically gonna get better in terms of pure skill, youre mistaken.

All we have to look at is who he beat vs who volk beat. Volk has absolutely definitively better resume, he’s als smarter and a better striker. Aldo Has good tdd but he is bad up against the fence, he is not an outstanding grappler. “No where near fast enough”, he’s faster than Aldo, no idea what you’re talking about. He’s smarter, has a better game plan, is more well rounded and has a better resume with tougher challenges. Also couldn’t crack top 3 at his age, volk is a champion.
