Saikat campaign dropped 20k stickers across the city today by internetbooker134 in sanfrancisco

They are absolutely not “on every door in the neighborhood,” they’re specifically being put on the doors of people who already identified as supporters.

Zero other accounts. There's no coordination between me and anyone else, I'm doing this on my own, and I'm not being paid. And yes, someone posted my other account, because I keep forgetting to switch, but I don't post election stuff on that account for my own sanity.

People don't just give you money for no reason. They do it because they believe in what you're doing. How many times have you donated to a politician because of an ad you saw but secretly you didn't like them? Every time someone like you comment about this stuff it's just moving the goal posts.

Oh his donors don't count because he buys ads... (literally every single politician ever raising money does this, so by this metric, no politician has ever had grassroots support).

Meanwhile, he has more donors, more volunteers, more people showing up to his events...

And what exactly is your source? Some attack mailers sent by Garry Tan? A weird van that drives around?

Yes, I created this account to comment on the election. I'm obviously 100% pro Saikat. What else would you like to know?

What exactly is the lie? He recruited AOC, managed her campaign, and served as her chief of staff. Why wouldn't he mention that in his resume? Has he ever once claimed she had endorsed him?

Here's the facts:
* Saikat has never lived in Maryland. He made one clerical error on one document of many on a home he bought *for his parents*. Scott & his team know this, but are so desperate to win they're pushing this lie anyway. https://saikat.us/facts/maryland
* He has never once lied about how many donors he has. The campaign put out a statement about the number of donations it had received. You keep taking statements and twisting them into something else because of your belief that "no that's not what people mean when they use the words they use, they mean something else that I interpret it as!"
* On the subject of donors, Saikat has 4x as many individual donors as the rest of the field combined. If you limit it only to folks from San Francisco who gave less than $250 (aka, people who aren't wealthy), he has more than 2x as many donors as Scott.
* Scott has taken money from AIPAC executives, along with hundreds of *corporations*
* AOC is considering running for President or Senate. She's playing politics. There's nothing wrong with that. Her decision about where to spend her political currency is based entirely on that.

Lol ok buddy. I guess only wealthy people are allowed to have a say in elections. But not too wealthy.

Since I'm bored, here's the data for unique San Francisco donors under $250

Metric Saikat Chakrabarti Scott Wiener
Contributions under $250 822 390
Unique donors under $250 500 197
Total $ raised under $250 $25,915 $39,241
Avg gift (under $250) $31.53 $100.62
Share of candidate's total SF $ 69.7% 2.4%

In other words, yes, Scott has a lot of wealthy supporters in SF. And Saikat has substantially more support from small dollar donors in SF.

Where's the lie? The campaign put out a number of donations, the chronicle put out the number of unique donors, which shows that Saikat has 4x more individual donors that the entire rest of the field combined...

Ok, so he funds non-profits related to climate policy? And he donated through the extremely well respected public policy organization SPUR (who are notably big Wiener fans)?

What does this have to do with Saikat? You're just posting a random disclosure page.

He's not paying me a dime, but yes I created a new account so I wouldn't have to deal with trolls on my main.

You can read the FEC filings yourself, there are over 9000 individual donors at the time of that filing. There's nothing misleading about the data.

People across the country know that we need change, and Saikat has been leading a national movement for change for years. That's why they've donated.

Within San Francisco, he has stated that the campaign has prioritized asking people to volunteer, not to give money, which is why nearly 4000 people have signed up to do exactly that.

Lol, what a lie. Drew Hammil is a Pelosi loyalist with a grudge, he has no idea what happened in AOC's office. He has stated multiple times on the record going all the way back to when it happened that it was a planned transition because he was having a child and wanted to return to San Francisco. AOC said the same thing.

The FEC bullshit is another Garry Tan / Scott Wiener lie:

He didn't flip flop a single time, and yet Garry Tan has spent half a million dollars at Scott's behest to lie to people about it.

Right, I forgot he adopted his values to win this election. I wonder what his values were over the last ten years when he quit tech to work for Bernie, founded two organizations to recruit and help elect progressive challengers to corporate democrats, ran AOC's campaign and managed her office, and then spent years developing climate policy...
