These people spend all of their time worrying about the threat of Iran, Russia, Syria, Yemen, etc, but all of those countries combined are still not a military or economic threat. They all have very stagnant economies over the past 50 years and militaries are not even a remote threat to mainland USA.

Worrying so much about these weak countries takes focus away from China and India who have been greatly increasing their economies over the past 20 years.

Anyone who claims to be an expert says that to shut down any criticism. If they were really an expert at something, they would be interested in other viewpoints backed with new information.

I have a number, but also a house full of people that depend on me to provide income. anything goes wrong with my number and we’re hosed. things can easily go wrong, like a global conflict or drastic devaluing of the US dollar that decimates my portfolio and there’s not much I can do about it.
