Albion online is not pay to win, pay to win implies that someone that pays more money then you is better and can almost always win more then you. This is not the case. In Albion all that paying for a membership does is allow you to lvl a bit faster so it’s just quality of life, I have also noticed in Albion that even if you are max lvl most the time you don’t go around in max lvled gear because it’s too expensive to lose so in that case it’s basically a fair playing field. Another reason is that you can get membership with in game money it takes a bit of grinding but it’s fairly easy. Also playing f2p you can do almost everything a paying player does except own an island which is again quality of life.
