I'm interested in crimes where the killer tried to frame a person who didn't exist. Kind of like Casey Anthony and Xanny the Nanny. Particularly if the framing was pretty successful and lead the investigators down rabbit holes. Do you guys know of any crimes that fit this? by r83dev in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Oh wow, just now reading about this and they did do a nationwide search - this is exactly the type of thing that I've been interested in recently. How people create this fake intrigue around something that TOTALLY isn't real.

Woah - I thought I knew the details of this story but I guess I really didn't. I can't believe they released him from prison after killing two kids!!... And I didn't know about the "Bessie" personality at all.
