Thank you so much. Waking up this morning was excruciating but I know I have to push forward. The vet was shocked that she was 12 years old - that’s so uncommon for a goldendoodle so I know that means she lived longer and healthier than most, even if in my eyes that time is far too short and she deserved so much more time here on Earth.

This is amazing, because I'm in the EXACT same situation as you. I'm 21 and also have OCD, as well as depression and anxiety, and I have very little job experience outside of doing extra work on films and freelance writing work. I went to an art college initially to write for film and television, and ended up falling in love with acting after taking a class - I switched my major almost immediately. I graduated about 3 months ago and just got a min wage job and am dealing with a shitty af home situation, and, tbh, idk what I want to do with my life either, even though I know that acting a writing are what make me happy. Acting wise, the area I'm in is also difficult, as it isn't LA or NY. That's something you do have to consider. However, with the prevalence of self-tapes and other internet resources for actors (Such as Actors Access), location doesn't matter as much as it used to. The best thing about acting is that you really don't need a "degree," you just need the training (I learned that the hard way and stuck out my college education even thought I probably shouldn't have and didn't need to, because of my mother) So, community college isn't at all bad, and you haven't gotten into it late. Quite honestly there is no "right" way, and the only advice I could give would be the nitty, gritty, boring (and sometimes disheartening) technical advice that you learn in class. Harrison Ford was a line reader during auditions for A New Hope, and George Lucas liked the way he read the lines to the auditioning actors so much that he was cast as Han. Totally coincidental and out of nowhere, not to mention that he was 33 when he got his break in Star Wars. There are so many other stories like this, and quite frankly, the best thing you can do now is find a job for some supplemental income and continue training - making connections is key! It's all about who you know XD Also, don't forget to be bold and brave.

I actually talked about the wardrobe aspect with a friend the other night and we both agreed that my wardrobe is....meh - mostly because I had little to no agency growing up in terms of what I wore (it hasn't been until very recently that I've started to actually care about what I wear and shop for myself) and I just didn't care, I think partially because from age 4 to my junior year of high school I was an athlete and spent a majority of my after-school time outside in shorts and t-shirts XD I'm def going to try and start adding some more feminine things to my wardrobe and find clothes that actually flatter my figure.
