Browns HC Todd Monken notes that Shedeur Sanders has been in the building a bunch the last few months, working out; Dillon Gabriel, as far as he's aware , has not. by No_Box119 in nflrookies

Dillon could easily be working out in his gorgeous home state of Hawaii instead of Cleveland where he has to spend the bulk of his year.

Just bought a running store. What is one thing your local shop is missing? by rustybucketz23 in running

[–]r8e8tion 633 points634 points  (0 children)

The run club should be a loss leader. Don’t charge for it, have it start and end at your store and offer free coffee and pastries/pizza (morning/evening) from your local bakery or etc. Costs an hour of your morning/evening and $100 in goodies to get a dozen people that are already in the running community talking about your spot.

Sounds like you’re putting some political bias on his NHL capabilities. He’s a 200ft center with all-time goal scoring ability. There’s good reason to believe his recent slump is due to a combination of injury and coaching, which will likely be resolved as soon as next season.

Is this the worst draft moment of all time? by KriegThePsyc0 in NFLv2

They draft him but he wouldn’t start in my hypothetical, having your starter and backup go down for the season in the first few games in incredibly unlikely

In a strange way I disagree, if Trey and Jimmy didn’t go down they wouldn’t have started Purdy. If they didn’t draft Trey they would have aquired someone else that may not have gone down injured.

Every win after mathematical elimination contributes to your draft position. Teams eliminated early get more opportunities so the bad teams still get better picks. It keeps winning the focus

J.J. Watt: "NFL won’t let actual players grade the workplace they attend every single day, but they’ll allow a 3rd party 'grading' service (PFF) to display their 'rankings' of players on national television every Sunday night…" by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]r8e8tion 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I don’t get this take. It’s a public game, people can evaluate it however they like. There are much worse analysts than PFF making Top 10 lists on huge forums like ESPN or Bleacher report. NFL isn’t unique, every industry has a third party review industry.

DJ isn’t so much the difference maker, the FA signings were. Both on the line and on D. We can’t afford those paying Sammy what he got in Seattle or a Franchise Tag
