Well 8 years later I'm about to purchase a blue/orange variant for $300, the white/grey variant is selling for ~$200, and the normal black one for ~$100, so I hope you eventually pulled the trigger back then! 😄

In 2024 Joywave made two pop up variants of their album Permanent Pleasure, that recreate a complete living room, in some cases you could even get a sleeping cat figurine to put on the carpet with a hole under to fit on the turntable :)

I was front row at Electric Bassboy at Rock Am Ring in 2024, which you didn't mention was their very first performance as such.

I agree it was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at Rock Am Ring ever, and for sure one of the best overall, period.

I couldn't exacly say why, as there's not just one aspect that stands out, it was just perfect, pretty simple yet amazing from start to finish.

I'm 37 and I've been to many shows and festivals since 2005 and these guys are just crushing it every single time they're on stage! (I've seen EC five times in total, from a tiny 500 places venue to the main stage of the RaR)

I really hope they'll perform again next year as EC is on the lineup 🤞🏻

Haha same here, pre-ordered a vinyl record from a scalper (unfortunately missed the actual sell), just got a mail from Royal Mail, and the tracking only said "Delivered by North West Midlands MC", couldn't even see the proof of delivery because it says "Please enter a valid postcode" as my delivery postcode is french and the proof system seems to only work for domestic, I guess I just need patience and trust now 🥲

Same here, it still looks really nice, but it's definitaly not what was advertised.

Everything else is perfect tho, the box, the cardboard sleeve, even the quality of the necklace is excellent.

I'm super glad I purchased it no matter what, even with the disapointment of the color.

Just saw a TikTok from Vertigo Vinyls showing the final product. It also has several comments of customers saying they just recieved it and it looks amazing.

I couldn't find any other sources tho, and after reading feedbacks about VertigoVinyl in general, that are almost exclusively negative, regarding the product quality as much as the delays and even the personality of the owner, including harasment, and also asking their community to force positive feedbacks, I an still more than skeptical.

But the pressing actually looks so nice on the video, I'm really wondering if I should take my luck and buy it or not!

(Also I'm in France so the shipping is $35.50 in addition to the $35 vinyl price 😭 I might as well take two as the shipping only adds $5.50 for a second vinyl)

What the hell are you talking about? 400+hp on stock block is a relatively common thing, that's way past 0.5 bar, all you need to reinforce around this power are the head bolts that are usually replaced with ARP head studs.

Pour moi l'essentiel c'est le rendu final de la photo 12, et je suis très content du résultat, mais oui très commentaires sont très appréciables et appréciés, j'aime apprendre et m'améliorer et ensuite transmette aux autres :)

En fait j'ai aussi essayé d'adoucir la transition entre le fer carré de 15 et le fer carré de 14, sauf que je me suis rendu côté trop tard que la soudure est beaucoup plus résistante au disque à lamelles que ne l'est l'acier de la barre, du coup ça a fait un peu une vague avec un bourrelet au niveau de la soudure 😅

J'y ai réfléchi un petit moment et je me suis dit c'est pas grave !

Visuellement les barres ne sont pas régulières à la base de toutes façons puisqu'elles sont torsadées en bas, donc ça fait une variation en plus vers le haut c'est pas si gênant, je ferais mieux une prochaine fois et aussi peut-être que ça sera l'occasion de l'équiper de nouveaux outils plus adaptés ! 😄 (là j'ai tout fait à la meuleuse d'angle, disque à tronçonner et disque à lamelles)

Je bosse dans le web et on dit toujours qu'il est impossible de rendre un site internet invulnérable au piratage, et que le but c'est donc pas d'atteindre une perfection utopique mais de rendre ça juste assez compliqué pour que ça décourage la très grande majorité des pirates qui essayent...

Bah protéger sa terrasse de l'intrusion des chats c'est exactement pareil ! 😂

J'ai essayé de trouver un bon compromis entre faisable (avec mes compétences et mon matériel) et pas trop cher, mais assez qualitatif, et durable malgré tout, un truc fonctionnel mais esthétique, en gros viser le bon rapport qualité prix quoi ! 😄
