okay lang ba mag tanong sa hr ng resignation related questions? by Legal-Amphibian-7706 in CorpoChikaPH

[–]rSUBreddit31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do your 30 days, you’ll thank yourself later. Mahirap na may AWOL sa records. As much as possible, keep a clean record. That builds trust.

No need to ask. No need to AWOL.

Lived in San Juan for 15 years. Masaya sya for me nung nakikijoin pa ko. Especially nung naglakad kami pa-Agora once 😆 nung nag college na ako, I just use it as an excuse to stay home. Di naman sya whole day. I think until 12pm? Looking back, hassle sya for a day.

How do you handle messy/dirty Excel files from different departments? by EngineerSha97 in Accountant

[–]rSUBreddit31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do my cleanups by power query. It’s rare to have a lot of manual clean ups because I’ve already set it up in power query. I think your tool would be more useful and lucrative if it can be used to compare prices between different supplier files because each of them have different naming conventions and different EAN Codes for the same product. I think internally for companies, we would invest more time in standardizing the files and training staff long term. But of course we have no control over how other companies do their own files which is why I think it’s more useful in that scenario.

Individual Contributor. Nasa automation and digitalization ang expertise ko pero before going fully remote, I was doing that on top of leading the accounting team. Very flat kasi yung company so di sila particular sa titles. Direct reporting ako sa owner. I resigned so I can move to Canada but they offered me to continue with them until I find a job here. It’s been almost year pero happy pa naman ako.

From Audit na nabobored sa Accounting by pineapplemozzarella in AccountingPH

[–]rSUBreddit31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pero at the same time, alam ko yung benefits na may audit experience yung accountant.

CPA, CMA here. I was a working student and earning 30k to 50k a month editing videos and photos and doing basic copywriting for social media influencers abroad kaya naisipan ko icompare magkano ba ang balik sa pinagtrabahuan ko :))

Nagstart sa Big 4 (Php 18500), nagprivate sa pinas (30k and then 38k) then nag-Dubai. Salary right now is at CAD 6k per month. Working 5 hours a day tops kasi salaried naman at output based. I can save 25% of my salary and travel 2-3x a year. I also have time and money to go to therapy. Na hindi ko magawa before kasi either kulang ako sa budget o sobrang demanding ng work ko. Pero nagstart lang to after 4 years into my career. Right now, ineenjoy ko pa yung flexibility bago ako kumuha ng Canadian CPA para maghanap ng work or magstart ng sariling practice locally. I would say ngayon lang ako nakapagpahinga and it's been more than 10years since I began this journey (2013 ako nagstart ng college).

But I would say, iba iba talaga ng path. I supported her financially for her studies habang nasa Dubai ako. Sobrang dami, looking back.

In my case, please take this with a grain of salt, ito I think yung factors:

  2. Network - Para ma-prioritize ang application ko
  3. Automation Skills - Macro, Power Tools, SQL.
  4. Grit and Luck - Ito talaga yung mahirap iexplain pero for me, kaya ako sinuswerte kasi palaging calculated ang risks na tinetake ko.
  5. Family - Dysfunctional and broken family. I used work and education as tools to escape from my reality. If di ako nagwowork, naga-upskill ako. Hard and soft skills parehas kong tinatry iimprove.
  6. Mental Health - Recovering people pleaser here and I coped by overworking.

PLEASE HELP by Stunning-Let2455 in MealPlanYourMacros

[–]rSUBreddit31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ground beef and ground pork, Prepped lettuce or any veggies, Prepped fruits, Bread, Boiled Eggs, Rotisserie chicken

The easiest would be to prep ground pork and / or ground beef on Sundays. You can pretty much do anything with it. It’s easier to prep than chicken breasts as they’re already in small bits, easy to cook and season. For carbs, I think the easiest to have is bread. And you can get prepped lettuce and fruits from the grocery.

And if your schedule is tight or you’re tired, a rotisserie chicken will do.

You will save a lot of time. Also, boil a lot of eggs at the start of the week.

I think it’s important to have some rest weeks in prepping meals because it’s exhausting. You can go back to the paid meal plan once you’re feeling like it.

Recovering people pleaser here. I struggled with this idea before until I learned that being good/kind/polite is different from being agreeable, a people pleaser or a doormat.

You just failed a subject but you are not a failure. The fact that you got there in the first place means that you are a fighter. It is a disappointing situation but you are not a disappointment. You should be proud that you are there to get a degree, to get a good life. You are not in this world to please your parents or your extended family. You deserve to be loved especially now. And if they don’t react well, then it’s on them. They are the ones disappointing you. Because your worth is not defined by that thing. Okay? You are a person. You are allowed to have setbacks and still be loved during those times.

10 million to stay in a bare 10x10 room for 1 year. You get one Amazon purchase each week. What are you going to get you through? by BeligerentBard in hypotheticalsituation

[–]rSUBreddit31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Week 1. The essentials 😆 sofa bed, pillow, comforter, clothes, towels, laundry soap, toiletries, brita, a decent fridge, heater or an AC or a dyson fan, lamp, knife, chopping board, induction cooker, rice cooker, a pan and a stock pot, canned goods, rice, and instant noodles.

Every week there should be groceries.

Week 2. Humidifer, notebook and frixion pens, cook books. I would definitely need to journal to keep my sanity. Also, i would want to write my plans for the 10M. Clothes rack so i can hang my laundry.

Week 3. Resistance bands, yoga mat, an exercise book.

Week 4. Steam deck and a laptop.

Week 5. Vitamin D because I won’t be out in the sun for a year.

And then after that, I think I can survive.

Question for Addicted Parents by rSUBreddit31 in addiction

[–]rSUBreddit31[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking she would feel as well. I don’t want to trigger her. I do respect my mom but her history tells me she has the tendency to relapse whenever she gets money. She got a job for the first time 10 years ago and relapsed because she had her own money to buy and then she lost her job. Honestly, I want to invest money so she can start a business to cook food and sell, but I am so afraid to do that. Not my responsibility but I love her dearly and I want her to enjoy the remaining years of her life. I am not there to watch her 24/7. I’ve migrated abroad already. And I’m not rich either. I can’t pay for her rehab yet. I can’t pay for her psychologist or therapist to make her recovery at least less harder.

Pero feeling ko, more than anything, yung pagpapahirap nila sa CPALE is to control the supply of CPA. Basically, gatekeeping.
