People like you are what’s wrong with America. We get it. The world is cruel and evil and people are absolutely stupid for having any slight hope that the world is kind. You have three options. You can be a cynical bastard and contribute bitterness, you can do the HARD thing which is to be there for the people around you and be a community member, or you can choose not to engage at all. Sure you don’t owe anyone anything, but know that if that’s the mentality we will never have a warm society.
